we’d find you.

wind makin us dig out fall jackets
moon. clouds cover you up
then let you back through.

hearsay and so forth and
such is life moon. at least that’s
what the porch had to say
about you.

full circle of hands beatin drums
moon. drumin up vibes of good health
to you.

exactly at half your potential
moon. stay here at the table
until you get full.

it’s two AM we’re still up talking
moon. you think we’re funny and we’ll give you
cute. so new it’s still strange
give it time it could change
into waiting and
pacing and rules.

take that baseball cap off
in the house moon. and look in my eyes
when I’m talkin to you.

seems like these folks have
known you forever moon. mind if we
