moon. tell scary ghost stories.

moon. gonna eat you with chopsticks
and noodles
at noon.

when you rumble by

red rock-dusted cheeks, silver-blue
midnight lips. green thistle-grass
for your fingertips.

it’d be nice to add hair… but you’ve got none
to spare, so we’ll spritz you
with fireflies.

moon, we’d shake up our lucky dice.
bet the tip of your nose, double-down on your eyes
and the rest of a million…
